Diversity is the main character among the projects registered to take part on 2007 Curitiba Theater Festival
The final countdown for 2007 Curitiba Theater Festival (FTC) had already started. Festival’s organization team is working full gallop to produce one of the biggest theatrical celebrations in Brazil. The registration period for companies/ groups that wanted to take part on the Festival’s 2007 edition ended at December 15th 2006, and 706 projects were submitted.
Groups from all over Brazil, some European and Latin American countries had registered their projects. Which means that a diverse cultural mix will be one of the main ingredients during 2007 FTC, an event that gets a better reputation year after year, and that it’s in its 16th edition. |

2006 FTC’ plays continue the presentations
During the 11 days of the event, more than 200 spectacles were showed to the audience.

Plays that participated of 2006’s FTC are awardees at the 18° Shell Prize
The Rio Theater Shell Prize - 18° edition had contemplated plays that participated of the Curitiba Theater Festival. The Shell Prize was created in 1989 and it is offered to the Brazilian theatric prominences in nine categories: author, director, actor, actress, set design, lighting design, music, costume design and special category.
